Kokoro Kara, means “from the heart” in Japanese, and Cheryl is devoted to helping clients look and feel their best. Cheryl has 24 years experience in the beauty and wellness industry and believes healthy skin starts from within. She incorporates both a holistic and scientific approach to skincare using organic products and cutting edge technology. Cheryl focuses not only on helping clients achieve healthy skin but also a healthy body and spirit through reiki, an ancient Japanese form of energy healing. Prior to re-branding in 2021 after Covid Lockdown, Cheryl owned and operated Studio C Skincare from 2003 to March 2020. She also worked at the Nob Hill Spa at the Huntington Hotel for two years after becoming a Licensed Esthetician in 2001. Additionally, she holds a BA in Creative Writing/Literature from U.C. San Diego. She is a Certified Level 2 Reiki Healer, and she continues to expand her esthetics knowledge by regularly attending skincare conventions and advanced training classes.
